At Mitchell Moves, we want to help you as best we can, and this includes helping you to keep the cost of your removals down.
You will find that we are already one of the most competitively priced removals in the North East of England, and if you manage to find a cheaper like-for-like quote, then let us know and we will do our best to beat it.
However, there are some ways that you can further reduce the cost of your move. The following guide will help you to lower cost and be more prepared (and less stressed!) on the day of your move.
- Do any items need dismantling?
Dismantling beds, wardrobes, dining tables or any other large item is no problem, and our team is trained to do this efficiently and without causing any damage. However, if you are able to do this yourself then the cost of your removals will come down due to the reduced time and effort required from our team.
- Move smaller items yourself
We are seeing an increasing demand for partial moves, where house movers are looking for a service to move just the larger items that won’t fit in a standard car. If this is the case and the property is almost empty aside from the larger items of furniture, we can reduce the cost of removals by up to 50% without compromising on the service. If this is the type of service that you’re looking for, then pleaseget in touch and let us know your circumstances.
- Be prepared!
Making sure that all smaller items are boxed and labelled, and that the people who are there to help on the day of your move know what they are doing will really help to reduce the time it will take us to help you move, and therefore reduce the cost.
